looooooooooong post to make-up for everything
since i'm bored with nothing that i WANT to do (but a couple of things that i need and don't want to do), i shall type the elongated version of the previous post with some stuff added in! =)
first up,
SHOPPING WITH AHDIAN AND GERIELLE! for once in a gazillion outings, i was on time! in fact, i was the FIRST one there! woots!!!! major accomplishment! (considering how i'm almost always at least 15min late....hehe) it's just plain shopping and talking wif my 2 mg besties! =) i was looking for a dress, ahdian for shoes and gerielle....well....she isn't going for prom. ac prom appears to be over-run by mg pple from that certain clique i think, but baoxia looks super sweet! (esp wif her better half...) anyways, we went walk walk walking from tangs to wisma then to taka and finally to wisma again! tried on some daniel yam dress, this white dress, etc...too many to remember. felt like a clothes hanger for those few days, but it was fun! went to imperial treasure at taka to eat dimsum and porridge (which i'll be eating ALOT of in hk...), which was quite good and cheap for dimsums! =) love catching up with them man!!!!!!!!! =)
then,
SHOPPING WITH MY MUMMY! most productive day ever. period. of course, part of the reason is coz she's paying...hahah. i'm kinda fine with it, though i think that it's a bit boring. HECK. the $8 necklace spices it up though, and it doesn't look that cheap (i think). bought the clutch after my mum went home to prepare dinner...and i think it looks classy too! too bad it can't carry alot of stuff, but since when did tai tais bring large barang to their (expensive) parties? i'll just wear my own shoes and (if i'm cold) some random coat my mum bought a few years back . oh....i'm going blind too! hahaha...sacrifices made for the sake of beauty (but my glasses will DEFINITELY be in my bag.)
next up,
BOWLING WITH THE GROUP OF JOY! so, it was me, sheryl (LATE!), shiqi (met on the bus!), valerie, matthew and allister. super super funny! sheryl had to come late...so i was left handling the group by myself. hahahha....matthew still owes me money, 6 or 7 bucks i think. that guy ah....pestering me (and technically, sheryl) to treat him to lunch, drinks, bowling, etc....everything lah! like i'm very rich man...hahaha. but he's not too bad at bowling and playing pool, especially since he's only sec2? ya....i think i remembered his age correctly. MY GROUP RAWKS! SUPER FUN TIME! we kept daring each other to drink weird concoctions (or rather, my group members did that to pass time while i ate. isn't 1pm a normal lunch time?).
having missed the free shuttle bus to chevrons, we WALKED there from jurong east mrt station, only to find that there were no free lanes. =( shiqi (fine....the rest of us too) kinda got too lazy to walk back, so we took a cab to the bowling alley near church....and found that there were no more lanes AGAIN. nevermind. played 1 game of pool or billiards (forgot which has a bigger table) for 40cents a person, girls vs guys, AND WE WON!!!!!!!! thanks to allister who shot in 2 of ours plus ball 8! i taikoed in 2 balls, oh and 1 of theirs. hahahha....miracle. still no lanes, so we went to look at hamsters/guinea pigs/rabbits and had dinner at macs...at 4pm. hahahhaha. made alot of noise there....fun!
FINALLY, we got to bowl! 3 games in 1.5hrs, even with one lane having a really wonky bowling pin system that kept getting stuck. i didn't do too badly for someone who hasn't bowled for YEARS. frankly, i don't remember when was the last time i bowled man. hahahha. allister kept trying to 'touch' matthew to improve his scores...and matthew tried to dodge him and stuff...super comical!
sunday....cut hair lor. nothing to say.
monday....
YF LEADERS' RETREAT! took me forever to become fully awake (i'm so NOT a morning person...) since it started at 9.30 or 10. forgot liao. the video sermon (another paul washer one) was thought-provoking, like most of his other sermons. from malachi, if i remember correctly, on service. nice lunch after that, when there were LOTSA food and BIG packets of sugar cane. talked alot of crap then and was amused by tim foong playing with 'kitchen essentials'. i'm highly amused by random things. hahahahhahahahahha. the sermon by pastor isaac was great too! picked up alot of tips on being a good leader and laughed alot at the 'before-sermon-discussion' coz of the uber hilarious and painfully true definitions of leadership, like DICTATOR.
loved this definition the best coz of the irony: 'one who runs around wildly when in trouble, mumbles when confused and...' i forgot. hahahahha....showing signs of dementia...
anyways, i really don't possess those leadership qualities. i don't even have a clear vision, goal or aim, so how am i suppose to LEAD people to that fabled ''promise land''???? haiz. sort of fruitful (but uber hilarious) discussion after that thanks to chisin and jasper--sheryl and i couldn't really stop laughing at their idiosyncrasies. didn't stay long enough for the group division thing, no point really since i'm not going for camp this year...=(

CLASS PARTY AT ADRIAN'S HOUSE! fun fun! learnt new lessons like DON'T EVER EVER TOUCH PRAWNS. i thought my sis was the only one in the family allergic to fresh prawns (and i keep laughing at her....hahahahah)--turns out that i'm allergic to them too. it's a little different coz she's allergic to EATING them while i'm allergic to TOUCHING the raw ones, breaking out into a terrible case of hives. hate hives, super itchy and gross looking. too bad for my potential husband, whoever he is, coz he'll have to peel prawns for me! =) (or i could use that wonderful trick they taught us at the life-skills workshop, but i prefer to think that he would do the de-shelling.hahahahhahahahahha) LUCKILY I CAN STILL EAT THEM! just ask someone else to do the dirty work man! hahahahahhahaha
anyways, met jolyn in school early in the morning to settle application stuff, then went to buy veggies and meat for the spaghetti! had lunch at pizza hut (to kope the cheese....) at crown centre after walking around that place for a while. didn't know that there were SO MANY tuition centres there man! never been in there before. dropped off the applications stuff back home and went to caro's house to drop off the ingredients. lazed around and went to btp to check out the makeup stuff there--the more reputable one (where the aunty recognises me) does makeup and hair for 70bucks while the dubious looking one does it for 25 bucks. luckily we didn't need to go to btp to do makeup in the end....JOLYN RAWKS! =) she has seriously IMBA CONTACTS (her aunt rawks my socks!!!!)
soooooooo...yueling came over with the rest of the ingredients and we started cooking! we can cook lor, albeit with the help of prego's. heheheh. still...have to operate the stove and what-not (ok..i admit that we should have added more salt to it. i know that not everyone likes sweet sweet pasta sauce like us...hehehehe). cooking the spaghetti was super mafan and we gave up waiting near the stove for that spastic thing to cook so we watched tv...hahahahhaa. at least it tasted good man!
packed up, cleaned kitchen and went to adrian's nice house! he (and his family) is super nice, buying most of the bbq ingredients, cutting fruits, letting us wreck his house....hahahhaahahah. helped peel the prawn shells (and discovered how sensitive my immune system was), but mainly did alot of eating. =) ice (as in the solid state of water. not the other kind...) was my best friend! went upstairs and watched some tv but mainly talked...and saw monkey's UBER NICE HEELS! i refuse to believe that she doesn't wear heels on a regular basis coz she walks like a pro man! it's super high and the heel was quite thin lah! just lazed around abit....but it was fun! hahahahahahhaha. didn't stay for too long lah....
that probably covers the interesting stuff. thursday was boring and all i remember doing is trying on the dress to see if i look ok. tomorrow should be cool coz it's PROM NIGHT! maybe i'll do shout-outs too....if i feel like it. but i doubt i'll post many pics here coz it's really annoyingly, painfully tedious to post pics on blogger, max 5 at a time....so i guess i'll put it on facebook. hahahha...like the rest of the world. this is seriously too long man.....
there has to be something seroiusly wrong if one can't look at another in the eye....
