I know I should have been mugging but I caved in and watched the Royal wedding yesterday.xP Just the wedding ceremony bit though...went back to doing work before they made it to the balcony. Hehe. I really liked the service (and how they sneaked in the gospel message), the music and her simple but elegant dress. It's not over-the-top, but still quite classy. Well...it's a Mcqueen, obviously expensive stuff. Hehehe. I prefer the bridesmaid's dress though. And all the cute flowergirls! ^^

I guess my decision to watch it doesn't just lie in the fact that a Royal wedding doesn't happen too often, but rather coz I'm a helpless romantic. It's that certain joy in the wedding atmosphere that I like. A commoner (even though she's not poor herself) marrying the prince. It really sounds like something out of a fairytale book. While watching the wedding, I'm pretty sure quite a number of people round the world sighed and wished they were the ones in their shoes. *sigh* I'm such a helpless romantic. And one without a 白马王子 too. *MAJOR SIGH* Looks like it's time to stop daydreaming and start mugging again.

This Good friday and Easter has been lovely! Nice weather, brilliant sermons and wonderful songs. I actually liked all the Easter songs I sang today! All those nice familiar hymns like: "Christ the Lord is risen today, alleluia."(The hymn with alleluia at every other line la.) Fond memories from the past!

Should totally sing modern hymns written by getty & townstead (idk how to spell their names xP). Sang a hymn they wrote in tron and it talked about the Easter events through the lyrics! So cool right! Maybe it's just how I feel.

I didn't realise that ben & jerry's free cone day is the same in UK and Singapore! Coolio. Don't remember that being the case last year but heck la. Woke up to see the pictures of looooooooong queues forming outside various b&j outlets in singapore. Hahaha..kiasu ttm lor!

I guess the fun of free cone day is not just in getting icecream for free, but the whole atmosphere of everyone being as kiasu as you and queueing up. Honestly, there's no fun in going by yourself, queueing up along and being the ONLY cheapskate chinese around queueing up for a free scoop of icecream (considering i have 3 opened tubs at home...haha) In fact, the amount of money spent on travellling to the quay and back can get me a whole tub at morrisons now so..that'll be quite retarded. The whole fun of free cone day (for me anw) is to have an excuse to go out and do something that you won't normally be able to do andsl soak in the atmosphere! There's s just something surreal about a group of angmohs queueing up for freebies. Hahaha

Ok...my 5min brain break over. I really wanna write a post about yongseo, but I should probably only tackle that AFTER i finish all the pbls for the rest of the year. And if you were wondering, no, the fact that yongseo has ended isn't the only reason i feel crap lately. It might be a contributing factor, but I'm not as shallow as to get mega upset over a tv show...yet. LOL.
