I'm finally back in Singapore...albeit for 3 short weeks. Still, it's better than nothing! Also, it's been raining at least once everyday since I got back here; whereas temperatures in Scotland went up to 20-something degrees! I know I know...I bring bad weather wherever I go. *sigh* lololol XD

Anyways, here are a couple of soothing songs to suit the rainy weather (while I continue to work on my 1n2d post...)

Romeo and Juliet - Clazziquai project
First heard this song on WGM with the Alex-Shinae couple but Shinae's not a very good singer so here's the Dream High 2 version...the show that left me scratching my head in confusion even while reading recaps. Then again, 2AM's Jinwoon has an awesome voice, as shown by the video above. The original singers (Alex and Horan) are good too and their voices blend in perfect harmony! Wonder what Clazziquai is doing now...

Has that Jason Mraz feel....lol. Both this song and Jason Mraz's Lucky were released in 2009 so there must have been something in the water that year. Hehe.

Talking about Sunday mornings, how can anyone miss out Maroon 5's Sunday Morning? =D

I feel kinda old now, or at least more mature. It seems that my taste is changing slightly, as with the topics I talk about with my friends. Just look at how bleak the last few movies I've watched are! I went from Sweeney Todd to The Raven to In Darkness...markedly different from my typical fare of Pixar and animated shows with talking animals or something.

Anyway, I've gone back to listening to emo songs again. It's not my fault that various bands have been releasing nice emo songs right...

First is CNBlue's newest single that's written by Yonghwa - Still in love. CAN'T WAIT FOR THEIR COMEBACK!!! And I don't even care that their new album is (strangely) named 'Ear Fun'. Lyrics and translation can be found here...

The next song is BigBang's Blue! Got pretty addicted to this and pressed the replay button repeatedly for a couple of days.

And finally...a less emo song from Shut Up: Flower Boy Band. I totally wanna watch that show coz of the cool music, raw emotions and bromance!!! It's better than the little I've seen of dream high 2 anyway. =D

After 5 weeks of waking up at 6am, I've FINALLY finished my 1st hospital posting! *throws confetti* Plus, I'm going home in 3 days time! *throws even more confetti* The whole experience has actually been much better than I thought, thanks to the very helpful staff, wonderful bunch of hospital mates and decent hospital canteen food. Hurray for Indian Thursdays with the curry, rice, naan and poppadum set meal going for 4quid!!!

As a 'good' medical student, I shall REFLECT on the block that just passed. Lololol....here's a random list of non-medical things I learnt....

1. There's not alot of blood spurting out during surgery, at least when there are not complications. In fact, there's so little blood that I'm now able to handle gory movies since it all looks suuuuuper fake to me. I just kinda know when the blood is waaaay too thin to be real, and consequently laugh at the movie.

2. One must open one's 'golden mouth' and ASK to be taught...otherwise one might as well use the time to learn how to blend into the hospital surrounding.

3. Never EVER touch green stuff in the operating theatre unless you're scrubbed in. It's sterile and you'll definitely be yelled at. X|

4. Be nice to everyone, and everyone will be nice back to you!

5. It takes about 3minutes to run from my house to kelvinhall subway station.

Totally random man...some more so than others! xD
