Totally DID NOT feel like waking up this morning and trekking through the concrete jungle for half an hour to get to school just for a 1hour lecture on addictions (which was mildly interesting, slightly useful and uber racist. Not my idea of a good reason to go to school). Probably had something to do with my LOUSY and COMPLETELY SCREWED UP sleep cycle. BLEH.

At least the weather wasn't too bad. I'd rather have a light snow shower than a drizzle. It's cooler telling people in Singapore that "I was whipped in the face by all the snow smacking into my face as I walked to school" than "I was covered by a fine drizzle as I walked to school". Plus plus plus, I HATE the rain and Glasgow looks prettier (and less grey) when covered with a layer of glistening white snow. =D And then the snow melts and the city becomes greyer than before..-_-""

The good thing about today was that MY ARM'S NOT SORE ANYMORE!!!! =D For those intending on getting the H1N1 vaccine, please move everything on "higher ground" to lower ground coz your triceps on the injected arm will hurt like CRAP when you lift your arm. IT IS SERIOUSLY NO JOKE OK! Couldn't even lie down on that side for a while before cussing in pain. (cussing sounds less pathetic than crying or whining in pain right? hehehe)

The other good thing was I totally CHILLED OUT today, randomly going out for dinner with Dav & Jul. HAHAHAHHA....NICE DESSERT. But totally BAD for wallet and waist. I'm like FAT now can....ohmytian....must LOSE WEIGHT. Everything is definitely tighter than before...OHMYTIANNNNNNNNNNNNNN....

Shall start by running to the station and doing situps and stuff. URGH. Hope that doesn't screw my sprained ankle though. It's weird that even though I keep falling and everything, I still LOVE going hill-walking/climbing just coz of the SENSE OF ACCOMPLISHMENT of reaching the top of the hill! =D Bukit Timah hill is NOTHING compared to what I've walked lor! I bet I can run up Bukit Timah hill when I get back man!

This sucks. It only took me 3 days of dinner-eating + pre-bedtime (the 2 times in the day i can't do work concurrently) show watching to finish all available episodes of wgm's ga-in and jokwon cuts. ARGHHHHHHHH...NOOOOO... Anyone knows which day of the week do the subbers finish subbing?

Then again, there's always my 1n2d backlog to clear. I'm at ep 82 now and I've got about 20ish more before I get to those that I've already watched. Then.....I'll definitely find other things to watch lah, so NO WORRIES!

The person who SHOULD be worried should be my future (non-existent) bf/husband. It's just a bad bad BAD side-effect that comes with watching too many korean shows & dramas--HIGH EXPECTATION (on my part, of course). Now I'm super tempted to go for the ski trip that SHOULD happen in feb. (SHOULD coz we don't know how many are interested, so can't plan.) It's kinda expensive (tho not as ex as like going to the alps to ski or something), but...I WANNA GO SNOWBOARDING TOO!!!! kwonnie and ga-in had so much fun even though they didn't really know how to snowboard, THEREFORE jane wants to go too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =D

Oooo...and their duet came out tops in Music Bank! That song is so nice lor! ahhh...and kwonnie's voice is totally daebak! His voice range is totally...imba-ishly wide. They are both so sweeeeeeeet! Just...GO OUT ALREADY LAH GA-IN AND KWONNIE! LIKE FOR REAL! They are the reason I started watching WGM after they changed all the couples. Then again, I sort of lost interest after HYUNJOONG & HWANGBO left.

Just got back to the freezer from the permafrost compartment. METAPHORICALLY speaking, obviously. I'm in the city area and it's -5degrees outside AND DROPPING. Like...BIANG AH. As BBC says, it's one of the "most severe winter in 100 years", with "temperatures dropping below -20degrees in parts of scotland". Those people in US and Canada will be 'cheying' away, but don't forget, there's the wind-chill factor in UK, making temperatures feel a 'mere' 3-5 degrees lower than the actual temperature.

I've closed my windows, turned up the heater and worn more layers than usual, but I'm still cold leh! And I'm already wearing a woolly hat (yes, it's still cold indoors k even if I've adjusted the heater to almost 25degrees) plus nice fuzzy warm slippers. URGH.

Luckily I bought a new winter coat, 2 new fleece sweaters, 1 new pair of 'snow boots', 2 pairs of tights, 1 thick pair of insulating gloves, 1 hat....PLUS....I received 2 hats, 1 set of pjs, 2 woolly sweaters, 1 pair of warm fuzzy slippers and a scarf from various relatives. HOW THE HECK DID I FIND MORE SPACE FOR ALL THAT?!?!?! No idea...but it was horrible dragging my 2 suitcases, lappie & big adi bag around looking for a train to change to at edinburgh.

Just hafta thank God that I'm back SAFE AND SOUND. =D

Back to unpacking then! (I always blog when I have other more important but mundane things to do eh!)


ok...finally finished with unpacking everything. i don't think I can buy anything else for the rest of the year coz I don't have much space ANYWHERE to put them. My cupboard is too puny....and I need some space to put stuff like pots/pans/utensils/bags/food. hahahhaha....

Biang ah. I SHOULD NOT have gone crazy in London and Lincoln. Now I'm faced with the ARDUOUS task of trying to fit EVERYTHING I bought into my puny suitcase. I'm especially at a lost about what to do with my hat (a FEDORA-very jj hor!-which I intend to stuff with small items of clothing and try not to ruin its shape.), my previous autumn/winter coat (which is FREAKING bulky. It is NOT the black version of michelin man, contrary to what jul says) and my previous (thin) pair of boots.

tian ah...there's still the books that my cousin gave me. Die man. Luckily I have another suitcase in my uncle's house...still...I need to be able to pack EVERYTHING I have in my aunty's house before going to my uncle's house later today.

This is giving me a BIG headache. Hope the roads are clear enough to drive tomorrow too! There's 6inches of snow at my uncle's place and (according to my estimates) at least 2inches of snow at my aunty's place.
