The world is suppose to have ended (obviously DID NOT happen) by now...which would have meant that I would be spared of year 2 exams. SIGH.

My brain is currently like a sieve and my eyes are threatening to shut at any moment. Gosh...less than 2weeks to exams. SO SCREWED. Just needed to recharge my brain for a while and it's back to more mugging...SIGH. =(

Short post about my boring life which currently consists of mugging for exams. SAD CASE. =( It's like my days just get blurred into 1 big cycle of mugging, eating & sleeping.

Weird & wonderful thing 1: I WAS STALKED BY A CAT!
Yes, you did read that correctly, a very cute black & white cat stalked me and followed me home! I mean, it walked almost beside me, stopped whenever I stopped and tried to play with me! KAWAIIIIII!!!! Too bad it was getting quite late & I was in a hurry to go back, otherwise I'll play with it (even though I'm not its owner)

Weird & (not so) wonderful thing 2: I'm seeing things wrongly...like I would think I see something (e.g. internet tab blinking) when it's actually not. Or see someone who shouldn't really be there at that time and place. Goodness...I'm not even making sense now.

Weird & (strangely) wonderful thing 3: Smoked salmon + cream cheese + jam in a sandwich actually tastes good! I know it's a really iffy sounding combination (especially with the jam) but it's not as bad as it sounds.

Random update done for the day! A few more weeks to go & I'm back!!!!! ^^

My fb newsfeed is getting so clogged up with singapore election stuff recently; all sorts of arguments for and against the pap. And who said Singaporean youths were apathetic? While I follow it all with a certain (unusually high) amount of curiousity and interest, I have no intention of blogging about my actual views regarding all of this. For one, my PR status and the fact that I'm currently overseas will make me a prime target for dissenters. Plus it's not like I'mm gonna vote anyway. Heh.


That said....i still think pap will win overall. Unless.....something big and bad really happens that causes a freak result. Lol.

What I do want to say is that social media is scary. I've said it before and I say it again. Even though the number of peoplee 'liking' your fb page will not necessarily translate into more votes, all political parties should take a step back and see how to use social media effectively. Ignoring the problem or deleting comments is not gonna make the problem go away. There are alot of silent stalkers trawling the internet for information anyway,....and the scary thing is that they'll probably find what they want to hear somewhere online. So....i guess...people in the public eye, just be mindful of what you say? Someone out there is probably gonna pick up on your most controversial sentence in your speech, analyse it online and possibly take it out of context. Who knows?

Actually, it's not just public figures that should eye social media warily. Even 'ordinary folk' like you and me must be mindful of the things we post online. It could cause someone else serious distress...plus frankly, there are somethings that shouldn't be broadcasted to the whole world. Period. That's why I choose not to wear my heart on my sleeves (or rather, my fb wall) and just post videos or comment about shows. Goodness knows how many silent stalkers I have. Maybe I'm particularly careful coz i'm a silent stalker myself. Lol.

Heh. I blame my musings on the stuff going on around me & the things I see on fb. Do they even think before posting it?!?! (Frapes not included. Lol)
