Hahahaha...i have a snowball fight & snowman obssession man! But this is called making the most of a bad situation. If life gives you lemons, make lemonade. If the sky gives you snow, make snowmen!!! Or pelt people with snow. Aiyah...just have fun while playing in there.

WOOHOOOOOOO....Today actually lived up to expectations! It's the end of block (NO PBL!!!!), Coursework's done and dusted, Got a nice new LG andriod hp, Watched my all-time-only-favourite-baroque piece Handel's messiah, Had nice grass jelly milk tea and 'Played' in the snow!!!! FUN STUFF.

The 1hr adventure to get a taxi in the snow was actually pretty fun....though it seemed hopeless just now. I don't really do recaps, but since it is not going to happen again (HISTORY BETTER NOT REPEAT ITSELF ANYWAY), I'll just recap it. Just coz it was so epic PHAIL on our part.

It all began (innocently enough) with our milk tea cravings, a couple of falling snowflakes and our trying to be smart-ass. Whatever it was, we ignored the empty taxi stand (with loads of waiting cabs) opposite the hk cafe where we had supper. Thennnn...we wondered about semi-aimlessly trying to get a cab in the most 'convenient place' possible....FOR LIKE 45MIN. IN THE BLIZZARD. WET, FROZEN, WITH SNOW IN OUR FACE. But....it was actually quite fun, enjoying each other's company as we raved about in fresh snow and camwhored. I KID YOU NOT. We were bored of waiting here and there so....we camwhored in the blizzard.

And we were almost caught in the crossfire of a snowball fight across sauchiehall street outside garage, witnessing a fistfight caused by an errant snowball that was cheered on by a group of siao angmoh girls in the middle of our group. CRAZY MANNNNNN...

Either way, it's not an experience I'll forget in a jiffy. ^^

BY THE WAY, HANDEL'S MESSIAH IS ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT! I loveeeeeeeee the words and how the melody actually brings out the meaning of the lyrics so well! It's my 2nd time watching the entire oratorio and honestly, I don't mind watching it again. But....WHY DIDN'T ANYONE SING DURING THE HALLELUJAH CHORUS =( I was half singing along the whole time btw...teehee! Overall, it was a really good reminder about our Living Saviour, Redeemer and King! ^^

Anyways, I'm having this whole chinese indie-ish & soothing music craze going on now. Maybe I'm too stressed so I need soothing music to calm me down. hahhaha...what a joke man. Whatever it is, I'm pretty obsessed with songs by 方大同, 薛凯琦, 陈绮贞&许哲珮 now. Here's just 1 example....it's uber saccharine sweet!!!! ooo...and she wrote the lyrics and tune too...but it's in 繁体. hehehehehehe

AHHHHHHHH....i love this week's yongseo couple. AND I wanna go to Kawagoe in Saitama, near Tokyo. Looks absolutely stunning and the food looks awesome ^^

Oh. And I feel like watching this new korean show called 'Secret Garden'...if not for that dratted coursework. >< That statement below is translated from korean (so it may not make sense) but I like how it was formed from the books shelved during a scene in that show. =D So cool.

It's actually very interesting to see & experience new things, particularly when it comes to church matters. Or maybe just coz I happen to have a special curiosity when it comes to things of the spiritual realm, so I'll ask lots of questions about the doctrinal stand of other christians and their view on certain 'controversial' matters. Of coz, one needs to be discerning & learn to search the scriptures to see if their view is most probably God's take on things. XP

That brings me to one of the most hotly debated topics ever (at least in my church) -- What is an acceptable form of worship? YEP. I CAN'T BELIEVE IT EITHER BUT I FEEL LIKE MUSING ON THE TRADITIONAL VS CHARISMATIC DEBATE. That's totally making me a sitting duck here, gonna get stoned by irate people on all sides. hehehehehehehehe

It's just coz I went for a worship conference on Saturday, and yes....it was pretty charismatic. BUT that does not mean that I didn't go away without learning stuff. ^^ I guess it all boils down to the sort of attitude one takes during worship -- is it done in spirit & in truth?

Not to say that there isn't a 'right' & 'wrong' way of worship...like a form of worship that God accepts. Maybe it's just me but so long as the lyrics of the songs are biblical (not some random dunno what hop-jump-skip-and-dance-around sort of thing repeated to death) AND it doesn't detract one from the ALMIGHTY GOD we are pointing all our praise to....I guess it's ok? I pray it's acceptable in God's sight anw. XD

Errrr...but the rap bit & the dance revolution song was abit...iffy for me. seriously, why are they rapping? If you wanna rap, at least enunciate your words man...dun just do it coz it seems cool & funky. The worship session in the morning was much better with meaningful songs that not only glorify God but also make you think about your own failings & insignificance in comparision to such an AWESOME God.

Heh. my 2cents worth...while I wait for the flatmate to come out & have dinner. *HUNGRY*

It's cold outside, like 5DEGREES?!?! What better activity is there than to stay home all day, lazing around in bed. hehehe....I LOVE MY DUVET!!!! Add a computer into that equation and you get an OTAKU! hahahaha...I'm seriously a 宅女. XP

Must be coz I've been out too often, as reflected by my bank statement. In fact, there was a week when I didn't even have a SINGLE quiet dinner with just my flatmate & me --
Mon: Dinner at home with flatmate's 4 friends - Cod wrapped in parma ham.
Tues: Curry at Ashoka West End with flatmate & the aforementioned 4 friends.
Weds: Cell group
Thurs: Entire worship team dinner at China Blue
Fri: Dinner at Syinyi's place....PLAYED AN ACTUAL HARP! ^^
Sat: Lunch at 'the sisters' with Sam & her bro from London. Then dinner with a whole bunch of church people...AND WE COOKED LOR
Sun: Dinner with church people coz Fred was up....again. (even tho he said it was the last time...LAST TIME) haha

So....I don't feel particularly sociable now even though that HAPPENING week happened 2 weeks ago. Yet...I'm going for Deepavali dinner later & some imba guitar concert tmr. HAHA...

Actually, all I wanna do now is wish my PBL completes itself watch my anime!!!!!! I only just realised that I made a BAD choice coz there's series 1 & 2, giving a total of 77episodes! That means....38.5hrs of pure anime timewasting. HAHAHAHHA....but it's a nice anime called hayate no gotoku (Hayate the combat butler)

....and all because I saw that there's gonna be a taiwanese adaptation of this starring park shin hye ('You're beautiful) and 胡宇葳 (公主小妹). TERRIBLE JANEEEE.....I'm still behind in my note making lor! tian ahhhh.....GG

Oh...and i wanna go visit Japan. HAHAHA....SO RANDOM. It's all coz nic posted a link to an onsen that inspired 'Spirited Away' (1 of my all-time favs...) AND THE PICTURES ARE CALLING ME TO GO SEE THEM IN REAL LIFE. arghhhhh....i should really get back to doing PBL since I've gotta leave the house at 5.45pm LATEST. Ciao!
