OOPS! I've unintentionally gone on a hiatus and not blogged AT ALL for like...3 to 4 months? PAISEHHHH...I kinda got lazy to blog while I was enjoying life back home. I mean, who's gonna sit down and think of things to write when they could have used the time to catch up with people, shop, watch random stuff on tv/viikii/tudou/youtube, do more useful things? Well, not me anyway!

Still, I'm self-obliged to give an update of what the heck I wasted my 3 months doing. ^^ Basically, I went to Malaysia for church camp, sit and slacked, then went to HK with my mum to 买东西吃东西 andddddddd...sit and slacked somemore. Errr...along the way I helped out in YF (esp the cooking stuff for parents' night. BEEF STEW FTW), failed my driving test again, WATCHED INCEPTION, k-ed at the IMBA chinatown kbox, acted like a suaku tourist at marina sands IR, ate free food at MAF, played some handbells while giving comments for mghandbells' concert songs and (of course) HANGED OUT WITH ALL MY SPECIAL FRIENDS. hahahah...

Err....did I hear you say study? What study? hahahahhahahahahha

Anyways, I should give a wee belated shout-out to all my dear friends who remembered & celebrated my birthday! GOMOUWO! (did i romanise 'thnx' in korean correctly?) Thankies to my sis for getting me that CNBlue cd (just like i asked you to); F & YP for the dinner, wallet & heart-felt msgs; Geri for that sand ornament thingy; Some of the 75girls (caro, cheryl, jolyn, suat) for the cake at the posh cake shop; jasper & my ex-yf group for the chocolates; david & rachel for the accessories; alfred & hannah for the dweggi-tokki AND EVERYONE WHO WISHED ME HAPPY BIRTHDAY! =D *hopes no one's been missed out*

That's the end of the 'minor housekeeping stuff' and this brings me to the main purpose of the post!!!! LEE SEUNGGIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!
Btw, this is dedicated to my dear sister who has been badgering me about doing a post on lee seunggi for a long LONG long time. Yes joanne, congrats on winning seunggi's first album on the 1n2dfansub posting thingy....RABID SEUNGGI FANGIRL! lollllll

And me being me, a very BAD INFLUENCE to my friends, I've got sam & EE crazy over LSGi too. Ok fine, Sam has to blame her maid for introducing her to brilliant legacy so it's not all my fault ok!

ANYWAYS, I'm still the root cause of everyone's fanatism. It all started with me being curious & checking out KBS world since the channel came free when we upgraded our starhub set-top box thingy anddddd....I discovered 1night&2days!!!!! My 1st encounter with seunggi oppa!

It's a very nice variety show & of course, since seunggi is the youngest & shuai-est of the lot, he became the member my sis & i rooted for. That's why my sis is always happy when the seobseobdang/YB win the dinner/sleeping inside/morning mission/EVERYTHING. I bet it PAINS her to see seunggi undergoing the PD's crazy missions every episode. hahaha...

But since it's a variety show, it's quite obviously unscripted (given the fact that really weird & random things somehow make their way into the show) AND the guys are filmed ALL THE TIME during the 1night&2days.....1 sort of 'sees the real seunggi'. Kind of. And he's totally nice, gives his all in everything (including all the missions), has brains, is polite, aiyah...just gives 1 a very good impression. It's no wonder he's loved by everyone (& usually mobbed too) in whatever village they go to. *swoons*

So yea, I started to search his songs too! AND HE CAN SING OK! He debuted as a ballad singer in 2004 with ''noona, you're my girl'' (eng translation of 내 여자라니까)..which is 1 of the songs in the album that my sis won. anddd...he was like 17 at that time?!?!?! He was born in 1987 anyway. I think he won a couple of 1st places for music programmes then...not too sure. Ahhhhh...but i totally love his song in MGIG & BL! chao cute! errr...there's a dance to it, but since LSGi isn't a very good dancer, I shall not dwell too much on that. Some of his scenes in X-man (the earliest variety show he did) are CRINGE-WORTHY.

Anyways, I continued to watch 1n2d anddddd (at that time)...they mentioned that he was currently acting in a drama called "brilliant legacy" aka "shining inheritance". SOOOOO...I checked that out quite naturally too. NICE SHOW. i mean....sam became a hardcore seunggi fan after watching that, her parents actually sat down and watched the show for 2 WHOLE DAYS and even jules bought the dvd & recommends it. Not to mention that it received a ratings of over 40% during it's final episode. PRO! Seunggi channeled hwan quite well (daos people who said he overacted) and I LOVED THE ENDING! so sweeet!!!!! ^^


Actually, I found out later that he acted in ANOTHER drama before this one...and I watched that drama on channel U! It's the "famous princesses" and he was acting as the youngest sister's "badboy" bf/husband. OMYYYY...and at that time (j1 ba!) I was swooning over the 2nd sister's cool younger bf that served under her while she was in army (guy in the middle in the picture below ^^).

Pity that show was long & tedious so...I only watched it occasionally & kept complaining to nandhu about how the characters were taking tooooooooo long to make any progress. ><

BUT BUT BUT...I LOVE SEUNGGI's NEWEST DRAMA--MY GIRLFRIEND IS A GUMIHO!!!!! Totally DAEBAK! Drats the spastic schoolwork that's keeping me from watching my 4 episodes...and the last episode is next week!!! NOOOOOOO... =( And i don't want daewoong and/or miho to die....please please please let them live happily ever after!!! It's a very fun drama anyways; fast-paced with lots of not-so-veiled references to "kpop insider jokes" ....AND I HAVE A GIRL-CRUSH ON SHIN MIN AH.

OH, and he cohosts a show called kang shim jang (strong heart) with his hyung from 1n2d, Kang Hodong! MY MY MY....WHAT CAN HE NOT DO?!!?!??! It's a pretty interesting talkshow thing where guests tell stories to compete for the price of being the "kang shim jang). Errr...but his lame jokes aren't very funny, sorry. heh.

Seriously, he's such a multi-entertainer...I really wonder where he got all that time & energy from! And he's still going for lessons & studying for his Master's degree! Like wt....and he can get As & Bs almost all the time man. ZAI. No wonder so many companies like him & pay him to feature in their commercials like that for the fridge, beauty products, pizza hut, etc....
