Contrary to what the people on tv say, I DO NOT regret interrupting my Go-Minam series with THIS VERY IMPORTANT NEWS! Jesus has died and is now risen from the grave!!!! =D

Actually, must admit that I feel less 'in the spirit of the festivity' here even though the UK is suppose to be a 'Christian country'. Maybe it's just that I don't have to practise singing songs for choir. Maybe it's just coz Easter is so commercialised here that I kinda block off the 'easter vibes'. I don't know...but when one has been seeing chocolate Easter eggs displayed in Sainsbury for the last...3 months or so (like ever since after Christmas. -_-)...one just gets used to it.

Just find it sad that the Easter message gets totally lost in the process. No longer is it about God's incomprehensible love for sinners or Jesus' total victory over sin & death through His resurrection....It seems to be more about chocolate Easter eggs (made using cocoa beans harvested by illegal child labour too), bunnies and hot cross buns. Sheesh. And since the main celebration is over by the time I get to Sainsburys, the Easter eggs were already on sale! Hahaha...

BUT...this doesn't mean that I didn't try to celebrate Good Friday & Easter the proper way k! Went for Good Friday lunchtime service at Tron about 'the message in the darkness' on friday; then went for the morning Easter service at Tron and the combined service at GCCC today. Shall sign off with parts of 2 songs - 1 for each special day! =D
