suppose to do wr now, but i'm tooooo bored and utterly sian of pw. nevermind. this relieves stress....

anyway there is a BLOOD-RED LUNAR ECLIPSE TODAY. and the worse thing is that it was RAINING the whole day, so the thick clouds obscured my view of the moon. SO SAD LAH! i mean, Singapore is on the equator which already diminishes the probabilty of seeing an eclipse. when it is possible to see it, clouds just have to block the moon. so sad lah! my dad even drove my family round the back of MG since there's an empty patch of land there, but i still couldn't see the moon. :( couldn't even see stars....of course, he just drove past that place, while i struggled to peer into the sky through the car window.

disappointing. that's 1 reason why i HATE rainy days.

another reason would probably be the fact that i don't like to get wet. that happens when i'm walking home and the wind is blowing the rain into my face. the pavement from the bus stop to my house is also 'flooded' with large pools of water. my feet and shoes get wet. i hate getting wet.

the 3rd reason is because i don't like to use my umbrella. i just find it so troublesome to hold the umbrella. and my bag. and my file. and my cello (if i had ensemble). i like leaving my hands free. but i hate getting wet even more, so no choice, must use umbrella.

4th reason is that my things get wet. my shoes, socks, bag....everything. had to dry out my bag once after walking back home while it was raining. so terribly troublesome and annoying when books and worksheets get wet. bleh.

5th reason: i'm 'forced' to stay in school to wait for the rain to stop/lessen. waste my time, especially if i forget to bring work to study or if i really want to go home and sleep. well, it's still better than the next best alternative of walking home when it's pouring. at least i'm drier and i don't need to use the umbrella.

6th reason: slows me down when i'm trying to rush home. (like today). since i have to avoid the puddles, i can't walk home as quickly, especially when the ground is slippery, i don't want to get wet and i have to carry the extra umbrella. the bus travels slower too....slowing me down.

7th reason: the ground gets slippery. you know how the soles of nike shoes don't grip the ground that well? it gets even worse when it rains....this is physics which i won't dwell on. almost slipped a few times.....hate rain and wet floors.

8th reason: it gets cold and i hate the cold. especially when one is in an air-conditioned room, it's even worse. brrr....

9th reason: have to close the window in my room and take in the clothes which are hung out to dry in the balcony. so troublesome. this only happens when i'm at home though, but still....

10th reason: it's soo depressing. (except for mr ling who goes high whenever it rains for some strange unknown reason). the sky is grey and dark. it is cold, especially when there is strong wind. there are streaks of lightning, claps of thunder. perfect setting for some funeral or murder....read/watched too much of those things....
