it's 9th aug....so happy bday s'pore! (even though u kind of got booted out of malaysia so the 1st national day wasn't a very happy one) i seem to have personified singapore. nevermind.

sheesh, i'm not even singaporean, but i love the holiday though! oh and the fireworks! they're so so so so so PRETTY!!!! but i must clear my homework, or i'll feel so guilty going out tomorrow. nevermind, just have to watch the fireworks on tv.

celebrated national day in school yesterday (like the rest of the students in singapore). ended super early, at 9.45?!? ok, wasn't spectacular or anything. the uniformed groups weren't very uniformed in their marching, the band major dropped his mace, this st. johns guy dropped the contents of his 1st aid bag all over the field, the concert was ok though it was quite funny. the whole atmosphere was just lacking something- like patriotism? haha.

went to the row of shophouses opposite beauty world after that with some 75ers. food was ok, wasn't very hungry anyway. then went back to school for the strings bday celebration thing, which was quite ok considering it's the 1st time the new welfare comm is doing it. quite a lot of people couldn't/didn't want to turn up. but overall still not bad. Good job audrey, wanfang and xiao pang!haha.

BUT....I SAW THE MGHANDBELLERS ON THE BUS WHILE GOING TO EAT LUNCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they rock my socks man!the mg bus stop was soo full of mg girls so i tried looking out for my juniors. saw faye n isabel at the bus stop. THEN.....I SAW MONICA! so prominent, 1st one on the bus. i half screamed her name across the bus. haha...then could see rui, petty, cherie and roxanne behind. i think they were kinda surprised to see me. we all went very very HIGH! haha. talking rubbish for the few bus stops. the 75ers(my classmates: veron, kel, jianan, changjie and honghui) were like....-_-|||.

maybe it's just an mg thing, to go high when you see your juniors. maybe it's just an mghandbell thing. maybe it's because i'm really really close to all of them, i mean we went through so much as a performing grp 06. going high together! whether it was the MUSICAL, EXPRESSO, PRESIDENT STAR CHARITY, JAPAN TRIP, RANDOM PERFORMANCES! must admit that the handbellers of class of 06 just DON'T WANNA LEAVE HANDBELLS!we keep grabbing all opportunities to come back and stuff, even after our 'official retirement'. oh well....miss playing handbells like mad. AND I WANT THE SHIRT OK....IT'S SOOOOOOOO CUTE!
